Why is my live wallpaper not moving on iPhone?

Most common cause: the Live toggle in the wallpaper preview is off. Re-open Settings → Wallpaper → Customize → Lock Screen, tap the wallpaper, and make sure the Live icon (a yellow circle with three rings, bottom-left of the preview) is selected, not the still icon.

Other causes:

• Low Power Mode disables live wallpaper animations automatically — turn it off to see them.
• Reduce Motion (Settings → Accessibility → Motion) disables them globally. Toggle it off.
• iCloud Photo Library sometimes downsamples Live Photos on smaller iPhones — turn off Optimize iPhone Storage for Photos, or re-download the .heic + .mov from your computer directly.
